Trader Sam's Part 3 (More Details) Many left to be discoverd the next time I go

All the cool little details will keep me coming back for more......The food was good we had a great  Cheese Flatbread and  Chicken Lettuce  wrap in this really good sauce......The drinks were good....I had some Blue Hawaiian type drink that was good but not very strong.......If you want strong ---GO to Mahe's in Seal Beach......2 Mai Tais there and forget about it

Trader Sam's Part 2 (The little Details)

One of the things I've always loved about Disney is the little details......From the Line of the Indiana Jones ride and Jungle Cruise they have always added the little things that make it that much more special

As we continue our tour through Trader Sam's  Here is a quick look at the main bar area.... Notice  way up at the top the drumming Tikis from the Tiki Room attraction..

Part Tiki Bar /  Part Adventurers  Club from Pleasure Island....It has a mix and feeling of Adventure throughout.......This bizarre Elephant sculpture was intriguing

Love the Skull that got Lei'd

Interactive fun ----the windows that look out on the volcanoes that erupt every so often.....Another  great feature  --just like the sinking Ship in a the bottle behind the bar that used to be in the Adventurers club in Orlando

Trader Sam's is open for Business Part 1 Photo blog

The Theme of the night was Rum......We first headed to Downtown Disney AMC Theatres to see the New  Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides which was a delight --I'll review that on a different blog

Then we went in search of Trader Sam's the new Adventure/Tiki bar at the hotel.    Which wasn't easy to find right off the bat---because I knew how I thought I should be able to get there and ended up walking all around the mazes of blue construction walls  before we found where we needed to go....But find it we finally did.

And I loved it from the walk up to the doors......Tiki torches ----Tons of outside seating.....I just spoke to the Disneyland and Tiki fan that I am which is why this appears on both my Tiki and Disneyland blogs

Tikis  guard the entrance to the Tangaroo Terrace which was already closed for the night ---but that I intend on eating at  very soon....

 The new pool area with retro  Monorail water slides was dear to me as well  since I worked the Monorail  back in my college days at the park

After taking a few photos outside we headed indoors for a look at the menu

And began to gaze around at all the great  stuff.......Texting my buddy Scott that used to work Tiki Room and Jungle back in the day to tell him that he would need to come here next time he is in town..... Tiki Room Wall Chanting Tikis framed our view

Recipes from the Tiki Room and does the Tiki Bar really open on May 25th???

After seeing that they had some cool recipe cards at the Tiki Room on Miceage.com  I decided to stop at the park on the way back from a seminar in Irvine....

I first stopped by the hotel since the new Tiki bar----I could see past the blue construction walls that the Tiki Torches were lit....But unless they tear all the walls down tomorrow I saw no signs that the new Tiki Bar and restaurant would open tomorrow.........

I then stopped and bought my Tickets for tomorrow night for Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides at the Downtown Disney AMC

Then it was off to the Tiki room for a Dole Tiki card with  Smoothie recipe

Snapped a few quick shots of the Tiki Room  (I will post my Great Tiki Visits the Tiki Room Blog next week from a visit I made years ago that kick started my growing love of Tiki
