A Look at the Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland: Star Wars Themed menu

As a part of Seasons of the Force.  The Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant has an all new look and Star Wars Themed items.  

 Here is a quick look of some of what they have.

A Han Burger: Really that is just too obvious.    Check out the Han in Carbonite meal box in the upper left hand corner of the menu.


Chopper Salad:   Any Rebel Fans out there.

I may have to pick up this Chewie Stein on a future visit.

My Step son had the Darth by Chocolate and said that it was out of this world.

The Star Trader has been completely invaded by Star Wars

As you exit Star Tours you enter into a bunch of Star Wars merchandise.  This has always been the case for as long as I can remember---but the main section of the Star Trader had always carried regular Disneyland Merchandise.  


When Disney bought Star Wars –Star Wars merchandise slowing began to leak out into the main section of the shop.   When I arrived to the parks the day before Seasons of the Force –the invasion of  Star Wars merchandise had completely taken over the entire store.   

Force Awakens  signage and shirts and toys were everywhere.  
It is like a Star Wars fans dream with too many choices of cool Star Wars gear to choose from.  Here is just a glimpse inside the store

Hyperspace Mountain: A Quick Little Review

This ride is a 10 out of 10

Hyperspace Mountain opened yesterday….and having been on it this weekend it is a very welcome overlay.   It is meant to just be temporary for Seasons of the Force, but I really wish this will become a permanent addition.   I know saying this will probably upset some die hard nostalgic Disneyland fans---but this addition really is an enhancement for the ride.    In the same way that the ride was enhanced by the addition of the music a long time ago---the addition of an X-wing and Tie-Fighter battle enhances the ride even further.    I don’t think I can imagine Space Mountain going back to the old version again.   I feel like it would feel like Small World does after the Holiday overlay is gone.    Small World during the Holidays is magical and full of color.  When they put the holiday decorations away all I notice is the gaps where all the holiday decorations were.   I feel like when Space Mountain removes the overlay I will just notice all the stuff that is missing.

 Space Mountain is a great ride –but HyperSpace Mountain takes it to the next level.   The John Williams soundtrack is amazing and its adds it fighter calls from the battle as well.   Tie Fighter and Star Destroyers surround you as you exit from Hyperspace.   X-wings fly by  you as you battle off the empire.   the best moment coming toward the end as a Tie –Fighter comes straight at you as your vehicle goes over a drop.  This scene felt just like the giant Boulder in the Indiana Jones ride.    I can’t imagine Space Mountain without this effect going forward.   Check out the ride everyday during Seasons of the Force.....Now at Disneyland

As the guy in the Buzz Lightyear clothes would say " To Infinity and Beyond"

Seasons of the Force Signs that Star Wars is coming to Disneyland in full force tomorrow.

Media day for Seasons of the Force was on Thursday this week.  The Seasons of the Force kicks off on Monday November 16th --but some features had been having soft opening all weekend. 

 I couldn't wait for the official opening so we headed out to the park to see if we could check out some of the stuff.   

 Hyperspace Mountain was our first stop and it was open.  (I'll save that for it's own blog tomorrow).   

The Launching Bay wasn't open yet and neither was the Path to the Jedi film clips (which was open the day before).

We also hit Star Tours --but did not get to see the new segment.

The signage for Seasons of the Force was all over the place and the old Star Trader was literally all Star Wars now.  (I'll blog about that this week as well)

For today I'll just give you a sneak peek at the Signage that shows Tomorrowland has turned into Star Wars already.

Right at the entrance of Tomorrowland it is clear that Star Wars has arrived.

Lightside and Darkside Banners line the Peoplemover tracks.
