Frontierland Art at the Disneyland Hotel

I had previously  stopped by the Adventureland Tower of the Disneyland Hotel and took some pictures of all the cool Jungle Cruise artwork and models they had there.   This week I decided to pop in and take some pictures of the stuff over at the Frontierland Tower.   I haven't been over in that area since they took out the waterfalls.

They had some nice artwork from the old fort on Tom Samyer's Island and Frontierland in general

The coolest thing in the Frontierland Tower lobby was The Big Thunder Railroad model.....I so wish I had this in my house.....Such a cool piece.

I also loved the little waterfall out in front of the Tower.....I wish I had a water feature like this in my own backyard

Coming Soon to theaters near you

In the Animation building there are some nice large movie posters for a couple of upcoming films
Pixar's Brave.....and Disney's  Wreck-it  Ralph---which I haven't seen much about as of yet.
There was a great sneak peak of Brave in the Drawn to Animation  section of the animation building.

Making Bread in DCA

The Tortillas may be gone to make room for chocolate, but across the way Rosie  O' Donell  and Colin Mochrie are still taking about making bread (and I'm not talking about money).  The Boudin Bakery Bread tour (with free soughdough bread samples)  is still a fun little distraction from long attraction lines.

Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and a Bear named Duffy?

Here is the artwork featuring Mickey and pals that leads you to the meet and greet area with a bear that is hardly ever there. And which most people haven't heard about and don't really care.   This pictures introduce guests to who the bear is and why they should wait in line to get a picture with him.

Drawing Pooh!

Stopped by the Drawn to Animation for a little instruction on drawing Pooh.  I love stopping in at this attraction in the Animation Building of DCA because you never know which cartoon you will get to draw.  It is like an art version of Star Tours with new destinations all of the time.   Today it was Pooh Bear...with a little sneak peak before hand of Pixar's Brave....

Looks great ----just like all of the other Pixar movies
Time to draw a bear --let us start with a simple square.
